The A-Z of Richard Sorger

posted 29.10.2009

I have long been a huge fan of Richard Sorger and his signature dresses covered in sequinned shapes and patterns, not to mention the pieces that he designed with Meadham Kirchhoff for the label’s autumn collection. Now news has reached me of a new project that Sorger has embarked upon - and I’m most excited.

To mark the launch of his collection into London shop The Convenience Store, the designer has collaborated with the boutique to create the ‘A-Z’ project. The idea? Pick a silk or jersey T-shirt dress from a variety of colour options and you can have it embroidered with your chosen letters. The service costs £295 for a letter on the front of the dress or £395 for one on both the front and back.

If you’re as desperate to get your hands on one as I am then simply click here and order from the Convenience store website, or you can place you order by phone. You’ll have to be patient though - given the intricacy of the embroidery your dress will take four weeks to arrive. I think it’s worth the wait…
