The Shopping Forecast

Has anyone else noticed that dog’s have been getting a serious fashion forward makeover recently? First of all Bruce Weber photographed pooches wearing puffa jackets for the Moncler campaign. Then Mulberry caused a stir during fashion week by offering up the most directional dog outfits that have ever been seen.

Now news has reached my ears that Louis Vuitton is set to open a Christmas shop in Selfridges on 2 November, stocking limited edition pieces alongside current favourites. And, of course, dog accessories, including collars, bags and leads. Thankfully those of us with only two legs will be catered for too. As well as an array of the much-coveted bags and jewellery that are riding high on my Christmas wishlist, Marc Jacobs has has also designed a T-shirt that will be sold in the pop-up store. And guess what it’s illustrated with?
