Come and collect

posted 9.06.2009

I have to admit to a T-shirt obsession. My wardrobe is crammed with a heady array of printed and plain tees that can be rolled out for any occasion - and I’m always on the hunt for more. Last week I tripped over to East London for the launch of a new T-shirt label that has shot straight to the top of my wishlist: Collect London.

The brains behind the London-based brand has spent a long time getting the fit of each piece just right, from the length of the vests to the depth of the necklines, and the results are effortlessly cool, easy to wear and look incredible. Need another reason to buy? Collect has teamed up with a whole host of emerging artists to produce irresistible prints and patterns, and each design has a limited print run of 100 - so the chances of running into someone wearing the same much-loved garment is minimal. My personal favourite? The Native American vest which I plan to rock on the festival rounds this summer.

The website is up and running right now so check it out, or visit the Laden Showroom on Brick Lane to buy the T-shirts in person.
