One of the hardest things about working in an office full of fashion obsessives is we are all constantly coveting the hottest, newest, nowest thing. This week it’s loafers.

We covered them a few months ago and now everyone in the office is after a pair. Trouble is Topshop are doing the best pair around at the moment. But we can’t all buy them. We either need 5 different stores to bring out similar but not them same classic loafer designs - in time for this weekend, or risk wearing the same shoes as each other - undoubtedly a fashion faux pas we all want to avoid.

There is of course always the vintage option - a la Alexa, Peaches et al, but there is never ever a 40 and 1/2 to be found - and I’m never quite sure about wearing someone elses old shoes!

So the hunt is now on for a pair (or five) of the perfect loafers!
