Ever since Morroccanoil crept onto the ELLE radar several months ago, I’ve been itching to get my hands on the stuff. What started as a whisper with utterings of ‘the top hair stylists in America are obsessed with it’ has gained momentum (as well as a whole host of celebrity fans - Cindy Crawford, Diane Kruger, Charlize Theron) to become one of the most talked about hair ranges of the moment. And when Georgia spotted it backstage at New York Fashion Week, I knew we were onto something good. 

The range consists of a small selection of products aimed at hydrating, repairing and styling your locks using argan oil (which is rich in antioxidants and vitamin E). Its hero product, and the one we’ve heard all the hype about, is the Oil Treatment, £29.25, a leave-in oil aimed at overhauling your hair in one go. Lucky for me, the Morroccanoil press day was yesterday so I finally got to test out the Oil Treatment at home last night. 

I applied a £1 sized blob to damp, freshly washed hair before blow-drying and used a pea-sized amount to smooth and seal the ends once dry. I have baby-fine hair so was wary about using oil, but the results are seriously impressive – my hair is silkier, smoother, weightless, with incredible shine to boot. I’ve had several comments about it today.

It’s my new, now not-so-secret weapon.
